Sound Mixer - Audio Engineer

Growing up, music has always been at the center of my life. From playing in church, school bands, and my own groups to writing and recording personal projects, it has shaped who I am. When I started college, my passion was recognized through scholarships from organizations such as the Mesilla Valley Jazz and Blues Community and New Mexico State’s Proud Pete Rock Band, where I served as lead guitarist for four years.

This path eventually brought me to Doña Ana Community College, where I pursued a degree in Digital Audio. There, I immersed myself in audio production and sound design, learning the technical and creative skills behind building impactful soundscapes. As part of the program, I also explored film courses, which revealed how deeply sound and audio shape cinematic storytelling.

Through this journey, I not only discovered a love for filmmaking—camera work, cinematography, and visual storytelling—but also found my strongest passion in sound mixing. Today, I approach film with the understanding that sound is not just a background element but one of the most powerful tools in creating emotion, immersion, and meaning.
